Chris Boardman MBE (multi-record breaking cycling legend, TV presenter and producer of the cboardman brand of high quality bikes), kindly allowed this photo on our website after I taught his daughter Aggie to ride a bike for the first time. Chris with his expert knowledge and skills could have taught young Aggie himself, but being a typical youngster, Aggie wanted to be tutored by someone other than her parents and I was personally recommended to them. Well done to Aggie who full of smiles was the real star of the activity by learning to start, stop, ride in a 'figure of 8', then skilfully negotiate a slalom of cones confidently and competently. An excellent achievement for a child who couldn't ride a bike at all only two hours before !
A little over three weeks later, along with friends Cameron, Ethan and Daniel (whom I also taught to ride), I returned to coach Aggie and her brother Sonny on a bike fun session, teaching bike skills and techniques above that required to achieve their Level One National Standards.
